Jeremy M. Paul
Jeremy M. Paul is a civil litigator with experience handling complex and high-stakes commercial and civil disputes. These matters regularly involve multi-party claims or class actions, business disputes, construction litigation, intellectual property and trademark disputes, or serious personal injury. As lead counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants, Jeremy has successfully tried multiple civil jury trials to verdict. In addition to civil trial work, Jeremy has also successfully handled numerous civil bench trials, final arbitration hearings, and appeals throughout the State of Florida.
Jeremy has repeatedly been recognized by his peers in publications such as Best Lawyers in America for work in Appellate Practice, Commercial Litigation, Insurance Litigation, and Personal Injury Litigation (both defendants and plaintiffs). In 2024, Jeremy’s peers designated him “Lawyer of the Year” in Jacksonville for his representation of defendants in personal injury litigation.
An Indiana native, Jeremy graduated from Wabash College in central Indiana and received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with honors in 2008. In 2011, he earned his Juris Doctorate with honors from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville. Jeremy served as a staff editor for the school’s law review and was a lead advocate on the nationally-ranked moot court team, winning multiple competitions and “best advocate” awards. Jeremy started working for the Firm while in law school and also completed a judicial externship with The Honorable James R. Klindt at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
In addition to his legal work, Jeremy is an active member of his church and various professional associations, including the Chester Bedell Inn of Court, Florida Bar, and Jacksonville Bar, where he most recently served as chair of the Appellate Law Committee. Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons as well as hunting and fishing.
