Jeremy M. Paul

Jeremy is a civil litigator with experience handling complex personal injury cases and commercial disputes. He started working for The Firm as a law clerk while enrolled at Florida Coastal School of Law and quickly worked his way up to become a partner. Jeremy’s work encompasses all of the Firm’s Fortes with a focus on Commercial and Business Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation, and Construction Litigation. He has successfully handled a wide variety of cases in both federal and state courts including federal copyright infringement cases as well as catastrophic personal injury cases. Jeremy also has experience practicing before Florida’s appellate courts.

An Indiana native, Jeremy graduated from Wabash College in central Indiana and received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with honors.  In 2009, Jeremy left the Midwest to pursue a career in law and attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida.  In 2011, he earned his Juris Doctorate with honors.  While in law school, Jeremy was a lead advocate on Florida Coastal’s nationally-ranked moot court team and served as a staff editor for the Florida Coastal Law Review.  Jeremy also had the privilege of completing a judicial externship with The Honorable James R. Klindt at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

In addition to his legal work, Jeremy has volunteered as a teacher for Learn to Read, a local adult-literacy program located in downtown Jacksonville.  Jeremy is also an active member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Jacksonville Bar’s Young Lawyers Section, and the Chester Bedell Inn of Court.

Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife, Christi, who is a Jacksonville native, and his son, James. If the weather is right, you will typically find Jeremy with a fishing rod in hand or in the trees on one of Jacksonville’s local golf courses.
