Taylor Jarman
Prior to pursuing a career in law, Taylor owned, and/or partnered in, various small businesses, including: a telemarketing company, a landscaping company, a FOREX brokerage startup, a commercial mid-rise development startup, and a hard money lending brokerage. His experience as an entrepreneur in these industries affords him a unique perspective of the issues many of the Firm’s clients are facing. Ultimately, it was his experiences in business and positive associations with lawyers that led him to pursue a career in law.
Hailing from Georgia, Taylor graduated with honors from Utah Valley University and received a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science with an emphasis in Aviation Administration. While in school, he enlisted in the Army National Guard and served as an AH-64D Apache helicopter mechanic for three years. During his last semester, he fulfilled a childhood dream by obtaining a private pilot certificate through the University’s flight program.
Taylor earned his Juris Doctorate with honors from Florida Coastal School of Law, and was awarded five Book Awards during his studies there. While in law school, he had the honor of serving as a research assistant for two semesters to law professor Gregory C. Pingree. Taylor also completed an internship in the legal department at Regency Centers Corporation – a Jacksonville based real estate investment trust which develops, owns, and operates grocery-anchored retail centers. In his last semester as a law student, Taylor had the distinct privilege of serving as a judicial intern to The Honorable Timothy J. Corrigan, a United States District Court Judge for the Middle District of Florida.
Other than working, Taylor enjoys fishing, cooking, leather crafting, and most of all, spending time with his wife, Hilary.
